Though Uttarakhand is the true ‘all-the-year-round’ destination of India, to make the most of your time here, we recommend that you visit in the summer and winter months.

While winter season gives you the freedom to try out various activities like skiing and enjoy mesmerizing snowy views, summers bring their own set of activities and floral views at their best.

Summer: In places like Haridwar and Rishikesh, the temperature can go up to 40 degrees. So, the months of April through June can be really uncomfortable because of the humidity.

Winter: From October to February, the temperature ranges from subzero to as low as 15 degrees.

So decide carefully when it comes to clothes.
