Places to Visit in Chamba

Laxmi Narayan Temple Complex

The complex consists of six temples which are designed in Shikhara architecture. The temples here are devoted to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Radha Krishan ji. The pillar on which this temple stands is built of wood and temple of Lord Vishnu was constructed under the regime of Raja Sahil Varman.

Chaugan Ground

The center point of the valley the chaugan ground is place to take a stroll at night. The ground holds the famous minjar fair. You can have a beautiful view of the valley from this ground.

Bhuri Singh Museum

This is one of the must visit places in the valley depicting old culture of the Indian Kings. The museum came into existence in September 1908 before independence and has been the centre of attraction for the art lovers. You can see paintings from the medieval period, the old coins used during King’s time along with the scriptures embedded during that time.

Chamera Lake

It’s a beautiful artificial lake constructed on Chamera Dam. You will love the location of the lake as it’s located on a narrow road when going to Chamba and the view is just awesome here. Saho Village
